ENGINEERING AND SURVEY

TyumenNIIgiprogas provides engineering and survey services, including environmental studies for surface construction in oil, gas and gas condensate fields; carries out engineering and design of individual process facilities, accommodations and social infrastructure, cross-country and field pipelines, auxiliary installations; prepares regulation manuals, specifications and safety declarations; monitors environmental situation at existing hydrocarbon fields.

Integrated approach based on parallel-serial workflow of well design, field construction, design documentation, equipment fabrication and supply allows to combine diverse engineering tasks thus trimming down field development timetables.

In the last 5 years five fields were put on stream - West Tarko-Saleh, Vyngayakha, Yety-Pur, Nakhodka Yurkharov. Booster stations were commissioned in Komsomolsk, Vyngayakha and Myljin fields.

Several projects are under way including installation of compressor stations for associated gas disposal at Urengoi Gathering Center-1, pilot construction in Achimov Area II of Urengoi field. Construction of the second start-up complex of Urkharov Stage II is in progress. Field Supervision Dept. was opened in Novy Urengoi in 2008 to monitor surface construction within the framework of these and future projects.

The bank of engineering contracts in 2008 increased by 1.35 against previous year. 11 projects related to oil, gas and gas condensate fields were running simultaneously. Detailed engineering packages were prepared for development of Aptian-Albian deposits of Nyda Block in Medvejie Field, gas cooler units for stages I and II in Yurkharov, booster stations in Komsomolsk and Vyngayakha gas fields. Still in progress was engineering effort related to thin oil rim development in Sobin Field, Krasnoyarsk Territory.

Creative strategy of TNGG engineers is reflected not only in technical and technological solutions, also in preparation of special projects, e.g.

HSE activities, process regulations, mitigation of emergencies, etc. Design and development programs provide for maximal automation of process control, fire fighting, gas detection, fiscal metering of heat and power, technical security equipment and anti-terrorist asset protection. Upgrading of Quality Assurance and Project Management systems have become regular concern of TNGG engineers and administration.
