OIL AND GAS-CONDENSATE FIELD DEVELOPMENT AND PRODUCTION
Structural affiliationResearch division of TyumenNIIgiprogas consisting of:
Achimov Development Dept., Oil/Gas-condensate Reservoir Development Dept., HC Field Monitoring Dept., Hydrogeology and Aquatic Ecology Lab., Dept. of Experimental and Analytical Methods of Hydrocarbon Systems' Studies, Project Managers Group.
Key Focus Areas
- Field supervision over development of gas and gas-condensate fields and thin oil rims.
- Preparation of development programs for gas, gas-condensate and oil reservoirs.
- 3D geologic modeling (Fast Tracker, Irap RMS, deterministic and stochastic models).
- 3D fluid modeling (Black Oil, Compositional; Eclipse, Tempest More, VIP) using cluster functions and parallel computing.
- History matching of 3D filtration models using MEPO application (multiservice environment of parallel optimization, semi-automatic mode).
- Review of producing wells' operating status, development of recommendations on work-over procedures, including hydraulic fracturing and side-tracking, based on current full-scale development models.
- Analysis of flow tests' results and well log data and justification of well operating practices
- Review of field and laboratory studies and pilot tests of reservoir hydrocarbons.
- Field gas condensate studies deploying certified domestic flow sampler that does not require flaring the gas.
- Extended studies of gas, oil and gas condensate properties (general analysis, deep cascade close-cut fractioning), prediction of pressure-dependent properties, simulation modelling of reservoir fluids.
- Thermodynamic studies of reservoir fluids with PVT apparatus (contact and differential condensation curves).
